Martha dePoo, Key West water color artist offering fine art giclee prints and original works for sale

Giclee Prints

The word giclee (zhee-clay) is French, meaning to squirt or spurt, and refers to the spraying of tiny droplets of ink on the media to create the image. This is the highest quality method of art reproduction available today. It is the method preferred by serious artists because of its ability to reproduce the exact colors, details, and tonality of the Martha DePoo Watercolor Orignial: Kermit Key Lime Shoporiginal work, creating a piece of fine art that is virtually identical to the original, and that has great permanence. Our giclee prints are estimated to remain free from fading for at least 75 years. The life of the print can be extended by putting the prints under UV glass, utilizing archival matting and framing materials, and displaying the art in suitable lighting conditions.

Your print will be printed on an Epson wide-format printer using Epson's archival Ultrachrome inksets and museum quality digital inkjet paper or canvas. This is the same process and equipment that the Boston Museum of Fine Arts has chosen to make reproductions of the paintings in their collection.

Your print is unconditionally guaranteed against fading.
